Basic concepts of self-organization theory are considered in the context of dynamic system approach. A man is described as a self-organizing system capable for quality changes. Psychological development is considered as a nonlinear, restrictedly predictable deterministic process. Nonlinearity of individual development is shown by the examples of sharp personality changes. Using basic concepts of self-organization theory principles of dynamic model of development are formulated.
