Data of classical and modern studies of time perception are analyzed in the article. Age related peculiarities of time perception and experience in healthy subjects are described. The following characteristics are found to be different in older and younger subjects: subjective minute counting, assessment of time intervals of different length, perception of time flow rate in different life situations, experience of temporary transspective. Possible regularities of the age factor influence on different aspects of time perception are discussed.

Keywords: perception and experience of time, age, time interval assessment and counting, temporary transspective, past, present, future
