The results of empirical study of relationship between emotional information processing and anxiety are presented in the article. The technique Dot Probe Task in which emotional and neutral words were used as stimuli was developed in order to measure the efficiency of emotional information processing. The obtained results show that the efficiency of processing words that express threat is related with anxiety.
