The article is devoted to assessment of stress factors of life depending on the features of perception of information about the risk of radiation exposure in people living in radioactively contaminated territories. The study was conducted in 2010 in Bryansk, Kaluga, Oryol and Tula regions of Russia radioactively contaminated after Chernobyl accident. 1544 people took part in the study. Abramova’s technique for studying social and psychological problems of radioactively contaminated territories inhabitants and The Impact of Event Scale - Revised (IES-R) with regard to radiation factor were used. The obtained results allow to determine certain techniques of working with people living in radioactively contaminated territories of Russia.
