Аннотация

Несмотря на существование разнообразных данных о феномене самомониторинга, выводы в отношении его гомогенности крайне разноречивы. Целью нашего исследования стало выявление качественных и количественных изменений в содержании конструкта самомониторинга при росте его уровня, а также проверка гипотезы о целесообразности рассмотрения определенного числа дискретных типов самомониторинга и определение причин этой содержательной негомогенности и дискретности феномена. Исследовалось изменение структуры корреляционных связей самомониторинга. Выборку составили 433 респондента, в возрасте от 16 до 26 лет. Показано, что самомониторинг – единый психологический феномен, являющийся типообразующим и содержащий два дискретных класса (типа), которые различаются качественно и количественно по структуре корреляций с другими чертами личности. Эти два класса также демонстрируют негомогенность и дискретность – специфичные интеркорреляции обнаруживают нелинейную природу самомониторинга. Таким образом, можно говорить о четырех подтипах самомониторинга. Нелинейный характер связей самомониторинга обусловлен различиями вклада основных его факторов ('Публичная самопрезентация' и 'Направленность на других') в обобщенные показатели самомониторинга.
