Способность к анализу информации у студентов российских вузов: эффект социально-демографических характеристик

Исследование посвящено взаимосвязи способности к анализу информации и социально-демографических характеристик: пола, специальности, типа вуза, курса обучения, региона, профильности вуза для специальности. Предыдущие исследования показали, что интеллектуальные способности могут быть связаны с этими параметрами, и настоящая работа уточняет характер этой связи для более узкой компетенции. В исследовании приняло участие 28 933 человека из 51 вуза. Получено, что компетенция анализа у юношей развита чуть сильнее, чем у девушек, однако девушки лучше анализируют вербальную информацию, а юноши — числовую. Профессиональная область также оказывает эффект: более успешны в анализе информации студенты медицинских специальностей и студенты-инженеры, менее успешны — студенты-педагоги. Лучше всего развит анализ информации у студентов медицинских вузов, хуже — у студентов аграрных вузов. Более высокий результат по компетенции показывают студенты вузов Северо-Западного федерального округа, более низкий — студенты вузов Северо-Кавказского федерального округа. Студенты из профильных для специальности вузов показывают более высокий результат, чем обучающиеся по тем же специальностям, но из непрофильного для специальности вуза. Обсуждаются возможные причины результатов и ограничения исследования.
