Рассматриваются основные направления изучения эмоциональной социализации в зарубежной социальной психологии. Обсуждаются ключевые аспекты усвоения норм выражения и переживания эмоций. Приводятся данные об изучении эмоциональной социализации в связи с исследованиями привязанности. Обсуждается социализации эмоций в контексте культуры. Рассматривается эмоциональная компетентность как результат эмоциональной социализации.
