Аннотация

Для того чтобы понять соотношение между возрастом и показателями черт Темной триады (нарциссизмом, психопатией и макиавеллизмом), рассмотрены результаты двух исследований, проведенных методом поперечных срезов – на студентах (Канада), n = 1747; и на пользователях ресурса MTurk (США), n = 701. Влияние возраста на черты Темной триады проявилось по-разному. Во-первых, показатели нарциссизма и психопатии были ниже в более зрелой выборке; влияние возраста сильнее выражено у мужчин, чем у женщин. Во-вторых, возраст отрицательно коррелировал с чертами Темной триады; связь в целом не зависела от пола. В-третьих, дисперсия показателей по каждой из черт была выше в молодом возрасте, чем в более зрелом, как у мужчин, так и у женщин. Эти результаты соответствуют Теории жизненной истории, в контексте которой эволюционные психологи рассматривают черты Темной триады. Обсуждается соответствие полученных результатов Теории жизненной истории.
