The current paper introduces results of adaptation of the Family Resilience Assessment Scale(FRAS) by M. Sixbey. The factor structure, reliabilityand validity of the scalewereidentified,as well as the normative measures forthe Russian sample. A total of 331 respondents (61.6% of females) between the ages of 18 and 65 years (M=33.5, SD =10.8) participated in the study. In order to confirm construct validity,we used the Dyadic Adjustment Scale, the Family Resource Test II, and the Human Resilience test(all in Russian). Ex-ploratory and confirmatory factor analysis revealedfour-factor structure of the FRASconsisting of the follow-ingsubscales: "family communication and connectedness", "positive outlook and problem solving", "ac-ceptance and flexibility", "social resources". Good internal consistencywas obtained for all the subscales. These subscales were found to correlatewith the components of individual vitality, indicators of mutual adap-tation in a couple and family resources. The obtained results demonstrate sufficient validity and reliability of the scale. Thus, the FRAS is suggested for further research and practical application.
