Features of the narrative approach as a method of studying identity

Abstract

Transformation of identity models related to the so called linguistic turn is discussed. Discursive, fragmentary, mobile identity of postmodernism period requires new methods of research which are still under development. A special attention is paid to features of the narrative approach that make it one of the most promising approaches in studying modern identity models.
