Mechanisms and means of psychological influence in discurse

Abstract

Psychological grounds for discursive influence such as intentionality of speech, variability of meaning expression, data structuring, selective facts presentation and some means of this influence implementation are examined. The idea of target-oriented and unpremeditated influences is suggested. It is substantiated that intentional approach to discourse which determines relation between the subject’s relevant intentions and influence means that this subject uses may facilitate the progress in discursive influence study.
