The results of trying and testing a Russian version of Melbourne Decision Making Questionnaire on a sample of Russian college students (n =299) are presented. The combination of confirmatory factor analysis and cross-cultural analysis shows that the structure of the Russian version of the questionnaire is identical to that of the English one. No differences related to age, gender, or college specialization were found. Based on latent profile analysis results two major types of the decision making regulation were identified. The relationship between four questionnaire scales and a set of personality and cognitive traits including tolerance and intolerance for uncertainty, self-efficacy, rationality, reflexivity, risk readiness, intuition, and emotional intelligence are discussed (however the scales were not related to academic and practical intelligence).
