The results of the analyses of indicators of five components regulatory experience and professional development (total of 748 students including 407 students of 10–11 grades of secondary school and 341 1–5 year students of higher educational institutions) are presented. Indicators of regulatory experience were studied with a complex of techniques including tests, questionnaires, conversation, sociometry, and expert assessment. The obtained results show that successful professional development depends on some components of regulatory experience. It seems advisable to use during vocational training the battery of techniques for measuring indicators of self-regulation and further developing regulatory experience.
