Life scripts: normativity and individualization

Abstract

Concepts of “life script” and “life journey” used in Russian psychology are analyzed. The normative and individual life scripts are identified. The results of several studies of life script are considered. Trends to de-standardization of life scrip, decreasing the normative components role and increasing of the life script individualization are revealed. The problem of “typical” scripts is discussed, the results of the study of “successful entrepreneur” life script (N=164) are presented.
