Abstract

Social representations in modern Russian teenagers study results are presented. The results demonstrate variability and uncertainty effect on social representations of the world content; complexity and low degree of association between representations of different spheres of reality. The teenagers examined are uncertain in decision-making; they feel uneasy in choice situation, they are traditional in understanding of family roles and values and they don’t have clear ideas of politics and human values. These findings give ground for revision of current inventories of social representations showing direction of their modification.
