Abstract

In spite of existing of various data about the phenomenon of self-monitoring the conclusions about homogeneity of the self-monitoring continuum are rather controversial. The aim of our research was to examine qualitative and quantitative changing in self-monitoring while its level grows, to reveal whether it is necessary to regard few discrete classes of self-monitoring, and to understand the inner reasons of this inhomogeneity and discontinuity of the phenomenon. For this purpose we investigate the changing of character of self-monitoring correlation structure.
