In article is shortly given theoretical scheme of complete functional system, consisted of several subsystems, of mental reflection and regulation of behavior and activity, offered in the previous author’s publications. Each subsystem provides reflection of certain aspects of the surrounding world, which is necessary for adequate behavior and activity. Analysis of the elementary unicell’s behavior helps to consider, what can be rudimentary forms of these psychological subsystems in fauna’s philogenesis. Person’s consciousness which is the higher form of mentality, associates with the verbally-communicative subsystem’s activity. This subsystem provides reception of data about adequacy of world reflection by other people. Thus the person should have access to own mentality, its maintenance and conditions. It is consciousness in its classical understanding going from R.Descartes and J.Lock. Legitimacy of introspection concept in its classical understanding is discussed as far as possible brain mechanisms of consciousness, introspection and 'a light stain of consciousness'.
