Abstract

The results of the research of the functional specialization of the hemispheres during the performance of verbal and nonverbal cognitive tasks with the use of functional transcranial ultrasound Doppler (fTCD) are discussed. fTCD is noninvasive (e.g. as opposed to the WADA-test) and objective (e.g. as opposed to the dichotic listening), so it often uses in such studies. 57 healthy right handed people take part in the study. The preliminary results of influence the concrete cognitive task on the lateralization of blood flow velocity increase in hemispheric arteries are received.
