The purpose of this study was to describe functional and categorial kinds of generalization as a normally generalization from the point of view of the social practice associated with different levels of activity. In the current study modified experimental method 'The exception of objects' was used. In the group of persons with schizophrenia the decline in the share functional generalizations connected with the general reduce in cognitive function on the defect increase was detected and is not connected to the activity context; the decline in the share categorial generalization is remained intact as long as the activity context is taken into account, that is probably related to the preservation of motivational structure.
