Factors of psychological resilience to life difficulties of secondary vocational education students

Abstract

The problem of psychological resilience to life difficulties of secondary vocational education students and its formation in the educational process is mentioned. The aim of this study is the revealing factors of psychological resilience to life difficulties of secondary vocational education students that allow to determine the directions of the follow-up developmental psycho-pedagogical work. The results of empirical research of psychological resilience to life difficulties of students of professional lyceums Pskov (N = 342) – are reported. As a result of factorization indicators of individual peculiarities in the structure of psychological resilience, emotional-cognitive appraisal of life difficulties, psychological well-being three groups of factors of psychological resilience to life difficulties of secondary vocational education students were identified: reducing factors – “The lack of meaningfulness and purposefulness”, “Learning difficulties”, “Addiction”; factors of ambiguous influence – “Heightened experience of negative states”, “Conformability and positive mood background”; factors of development – “Purposefulness and moral resilience”, “Heightened perception of life difficulties and social problems”, “Interpersonal involvement and adequacy of interaction”.
