Abstract

The article contains theoretical analysis of value problematic from a perspective of social constructionism. Two stages of development of value as a construct are discussed. New term “Values Declaration” is suggested to describe the linguistic explication of values. Hypothesis of awareness of the connection between personal values and behavior being a factor of development of value as a construct is a result of theoretical analysis. Empirical part consists of an experimental research, which proves this hypothesis.
