Abstract

Based on the approach to man’s interaction with real-life situations developed by E.Yu.Korzhova the biography of Dmitry Mendeleyev was analyzed in this paper. It is shown that the subject’s orientation which in Dmitry Mendeleyev’s life manifested itself in trans-situation internality, creative character of life activity, deep sense of belonging, width of interests and variety of activities, ability to use outside and inside resources, hardworking, strong concentration on work and people, ability to keep love and friendship, and following moral rules both in profession and personal relationships underlies gerontological culture providing productive ageing.
