Data of the empirical study aimed at investigation of various aspects of social space of teenagers, living in the megalopolis and the small settlement are provided. It is shown that the social space considered in the context of teenagers’ attitudes to social reality in teenagers from different places of residence has both similarity and distinctions. Similarity reveals itself in the fact that irrespective of the place of residence, most of teenagers in general accept their social group and have a positive attitude towards various spheres of a social environment. Distinctions are connected with the more pronounced ambivalent nature of social reality experience in teenagers from the megalopolis. Moreover, the obtained data show that in teenagers from the megalopolis and the small settlement the identity content is different, thus teenagers from the small settlement are more focused on social group while teenagers from the megalopolis seek for awareness of personal identity and personal growth.
