Abstract

Results of the study of social representations, life values and time perspective in structuring of subjective social space in students of Moscow higher education institutions are presented. Formed time perspective, liberal social representations in the field of family systems and social attitudes, self-actualization and striving for harmonization of certain aspects of their life and maintenance of favorable relationships with others promote expansion of the boundaries of subjective social space. Unformed time perspective, conservatism in social attitudes, striving for self-sufficiency and limitation of the possibilities for realization of needs promote narrowing of the boundaries of subjective social space and maintenance of its stability and predictability.
