Abstract

The behavior control development in preschool children is studied (N = 64, average age 3 years and 4 months). Behavior control is understood as a psychological level of self-regulation. Dynamics of components of behavior control in problem situations is considered. This dynamics is determined by the possibilities of actualizing of such individual resources of a child as cognitive control over the situation, levels of emotional regulation and voluntary self-regulation. Peculiarities of patterns of behavior control in children who easily or difficultly get used to kindergarten (able to adapt or unable to adapt) were found.
