Abstract

Enthusiasm for work and professional crises were studied as factors of professional burnout in actors (N = 142). The obtained results show that enthusiasm, vigor, attractiveness of profession, professional relevance act as inhibitors of professional burnout in actors. Predictors of burnout syndrome in actors are shown to be preoccupation with work, professional crises (crisis of under-realization, crisis of emptiness, crisis of hopelessness) and vulnerability to stressful situations within professional work.
