Abstract

Conditions and factors of the development of images of politicians in ordinary consciousness are considered. Peculiarities of perception of a modern politician image by youth electorate were studied in groups of respondents with different levels of self-actualization (N = 180). The method of construction of semantic spaces analogous to categorical structures of consciousness was used. Basic categorical structures that describe images of politicians in mass consciousness of young people were identified.
