Feelings and their conceptualization in antiquity

The necessity of historical analysis for understanding feelings essence and phenomenology is substantiated. The antique thinkers’ views of feelings are analyzed, their development and use in modern psychology are considered. Specific characters of antique views of feelings are investigated in terms of the originality of feelings of that time. It is underlined that internal complexity of personality and personal feelings are due to complexity of social relations and culture. Full text in Russian:
