Abstract

Effectiveness of communication training aimed at teachers’ communication competence and tolerance development is studied. Four diagnostic techniques measuring tolerance and the associated personality traits were used. Vocational lyceum teachers included in experimental and control groups took part in the study. The data obtained proves that teachers-psychologists interaction is a powerful factor for development of tolerance and the associated communication characteristics – empathy, sociability and emotional control skills.
