Abstract

Theoretical review of intergenerational relation and inheritance researches is presented, these researches special focus on studying of intergenerational inheritance as a destructive pathologizing phenomenon is specified. The author’s approach is presented and within this approach such notions as intergenerational relation, inheritance, reproduction and continuity are differentiated and defined. Socio-psychological mechanisms of intergenerational relation and inheritance functioning in family are presented which allows to answer the question of how the experience transmission and adoption from one generation to another occur.
