The results of Moscow higher education institutions students’ identity study conducted using modified self-description test 'Me. We. They' are presented. It is shown that social identity is relatively formed in students’ self-conceptions as well as in students’ we-conceptions. Most students feel themselves involved not only in social micro-groups (family, friends, course-mates) but also in global social communities. This may be considered as a favorable prerequisite for young Russians’ active adaptation to contemporary transformation of social conditions.
