The role of emotional intelligence in socio-psychological adaptation of young professionals

The role of emotional intelligence in socio-psychological adaptation of young professionals is studied (132 respondents; 50 supervisors-experts). Socio-psychological adaptation to professional activity is examined considering external and internal criteria. For emotional intelligence assessment D.V.Lyusin’s model is used. It is shown that there are specific differences in socio-psychological adaptation of young professionals with different level of emotional intelligence.
