Different issues of the problem of time in Russian and French culture of the first half of the twentieth century is discussed. The first half of the twentieth century with its wars, revolutions and dictatorships made understanding of time organizing and functioning essence and principles especially urgent. The development of time problem in works of famous Russian and French philosophers, psychologists and poets of this period is analyzed.
