About the Journal
The interdisciplinary scientific psychology journal "Psychological Studies" publishes original articles across various branches of psychology and related sciences (including cognitive research). It is aimed at professionals.
Journal Aims: dissemination and promotion of scientific psychological knowledge, support of high standards in scientific research and publication, promotion of the integration of Russian psychological science into the global scientific information space.
Publication Frequency: 6 issues per year. The first issue was published in October 2008. The current issue is compiled in the second half of each even-numbered month (20–28/29 February, 20–30 April, 20–30 June, 20–31 August, 20–31 October, 20–31 December).
Official Languages of the Journal: Russian and English.
Place of Publication: Moscow, Russia.
According to the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI) data for 2025, the journal "Psychological Studies" ranks 43rd and 33rd in the two-year and five-year impact factors respectively, based on the RSCI core without self-citation, and 16th in Science Index among Russian psychological journals. The indicators are periodically updated as the RSCI database is populated.

Editorial Policy on the Use of AI: the use of various forms of artificial intelligence in the preparation of articles for our journal is permitted. However, in such cases, the editorial board requires clearly indicate what was done with AI assistance and in which sections of the article. Accordingly, the author(s) assume(s) full responsibility for the quality of the generated text (in particular, for any errors and "hallucinations" of neural networks). In the absence of such a note, the editorial board reserves the right to reject the article upon detection of traces of AI use.
