Identification is one of the main mechanisms of personality development and the mechanism of identity building. At the same time, identity is not a simple sum of all human identifications, but "Gestalt", construct, result of selection, structuring and redesign of the most significant identifications. Identity is a complex dynamic structure that is subject to constant verification, which is especially important in the situation of transitivity. Identification is an important part and stage of identity formation. The process of forming an identity throughout the life of a person assumes the emergence of new identities that supply a "material" for constructing an identity that is subject to constant verification, confirmation and / or modification of already existing structures. Identification always appears in the dyad "identification – isolation", which regulates the balance of personal and social identity in the discourse "socialization – individualization", which leads to the consideration of the problem of individual trajectories of identification as an integral part of the individual form of socialization that begins to form and manifest itself already at the preschool age. Someone or other type of strategy of identification and construction of identity finds its embodiment and is recognized in individual manifestation. Despite all the conditionality of any typification, the selection of typologies of identification strategies and identity construction allows to identify and understand the main mechanisms and determinants, which in real life are individualized in one way or another, forming into an individual strategy of the individual. None of the identities of a person in the modern transitive world or the whole set of identities do not fully exhaust the concept of personality. Therefore, identity is a construct that requires explanation and attraction of additional theories for this, psychological models and constructs (the psychology of meanings, the construct of the psychological chronotope, etc.).
