Development and approbation of the linguistic technique of cognitive complexity assessment for the educational text

Abstract

The new complex linguistic technique, which allows to estimate quantitatively the cognitive complexity of the text, is developed. It is confirmed that the calculated indexes of cognitive complexity of texts correspond to degree of the caused cognitive load of readers (N = 27) measured as dynamics of skin and galvanic reaction of examinees.
