The hypothesis of individual resources of behavior control is discussed. Resource basis of behavior control includes cognitive, emotional and will resources of an individual. Behavior control is considered as an integrative individual way of regulation and a basis for development of the whole system of self-regulation. The experimental findings supported the proposed hypothesis are presented. Different age periods – from infancy to adulthood – as well as tight life situations that require individual resources exertion for behavior control are analyzed.
