Описываются результаты экспериментального исследования уверенности в себе (self-efficacy) как проявления автономности поведения. Теоретический контекст работы: теория самодетерминации (self-determined theory), основанная на организм-диалектической метатеории, а также ряд субтеорий когнитивной оценки (cognitive evaluation theory), интеграции организма (organismic integration theory), обусловливающей ориентации (causality orientations theory) и базовых потребностей (basic needs theory). Проанализированы показатели уверенности в себе, интернальности-экстернальности, шкалы Айзенка, смысложизненных ориентаций, уровня одиночества, социальной фрустрированности и социального здоровья. Выявлены связи автономности поведения с характеристиками, которые определяются не контекстом деятельности, а устойчивыми индивидуальными различиями в базовых характеристиках личностной сферы и различными параметрами социальной адаптации.
