Abstract

In the paper discusses the basic principles and strategies of validation of qualitative research in psychology are discussed. The validation of qualitative research is the process of the reflection and explication of the research positions – it allows constructing the transparent and argumentative interpretations. The main strategy of validation is triangulation – the use of multiple sources of information, methods, theoretical concepts and expert opinions. Triangulation realizes the modern principles of the multiparadigmality and methodological pluralism, occupying the position of «connecting-link» between the methodology and practice of qualitative research.
