Role of individual features of time perspective and conscious self-regulation in high school students choosing a profession

Abstract

Individual features of time perspective and self-regulation in students choosing a profession are studied. The results obtained on a sample of high school students (251 subjects) show that there is correlation between stylistic features of self-regulation and individual attitude to time. The student’s orientation for the future and high level of development of conscious self-regulation is shown to encourage professional choice resolution that allows to diminish uncertainty in choosing a profession.
