Abstract

The article by Karl Duncker 'A Qualitative (Experimental and Theoretical) Study of Productive Thinking (Solving of Comprehensible Problems)' was first published in 1926 in English and in 1965 in Russian. Since it has been a long time, the explanations are needed for modern readers in order to understand and appreciate novelty and boldness of the theories expressed as well as the personality scale of their author.
