Аdaptation of the Russian version of M. Berzonsky’s Identity Style Inventory

Abstract

The current methodological problems of studying identity are summarized in the article. The results of psychometric testing and validation of the Russian version of M. Berzonsky Identity Style Inventory are presented for the first time in national social psychology. There have been Moderately high reliability, content and construct validity are obtained for all four scales of the inventory; the prospects of using quantitative methods in studying identity are discussed.
