Abstract

Complex interrelations between structural components of professional self-concept and career success ratings in employees of different organizations (total of 125 subjects aged 20-55) are studied. Peculiarities of experiencing career success by employees that depend on whether an employee assesses his/her own career or colleagues’ career are identified. It is concluded that current success models used by employees as criteria of success become more complex due to both horizontal and vertical career success standards.
