Abstract

Social space is considered as an interdisciplinary concept providing integration of psychological knowledge and related social knowledge. The problems of modern terminology, psychological meaning of the concept of social space and the possibility of “archeology of knowledge” are discussed from the perspective of cultural-analytical approach. The research program of analysis of social space by means of antinomies (a combination of structure and dynamics, diachrony and synchrony, macro-analysis and micro-analysis, network and situational approaches) is represented. The article argues that introduction of the interdisciplinary concept of social space as a psychological problem is the basis for multiparadigmatic synthesis in cultural-psychological knowledge.
