Abstract

The main tendencies of modern psychology related to strengthening of the role of interdisciplinary methodology that allows integrating different concepts of mental development and various levels of determination of this process are revealed. The importance of social paradigm which helps to understand psychological characteristics of an individual who lives under conditions of transitive society is shown. The role of cultural determination integrating individual aspects of identity that is especially significant in the era of cardinal changes is described.
