Variations on a theme of personalism: Russian and French approaches

Abstract

Basic concepts of personalism developed by Russian and French scientists are considered. Common features and differences in problems definition and treatment of issues of individual and society relationships, distinctions of individual and personal being, ways of world and self cognition are analyzed. The role of mentality and science development social situation in generation of content of different concepts is revealed.
