Coping strategies in transitive society

Abstract

The concept of transitivity is analyzed, the phenomenology of psychological transitivity, her social- psychological and personal components reveals. It is proved that transitivity is the hard life situation including both strategies – coping and mechanisms of psychological defense. The comparative analysis of the factors determining coping strategies in the stable and transitive world is given. It is shown that for many young people situation of transitivity is regarded as the complicated life situation, which reduces socialization potential in multicultural uncertain and changing world.
